i've had better haircuts
but this might be the worst one yet
i even drew you up a picture
of how it played out in my head
and you said,
"yeah, right. can't even draw straight lines.
your fours look like nines and your ess is a five.
i've never seen your face before, but this is my space
so let me do it my way."
why'd i go to night school?
i didn't learn nothing yet.
but i blew off better options
for knowledge i would soon forget
i half-filled all my notebooks
and now i've used up all my pens.
who needs pens?
i built up all my biceps
so i could take the things i want
and ship them off to china
and help my country to export
my mom would always say to me,
"boy, your future's looking bright.
if you would only dare succeed,
the government won't want your mind."
yeah, she said
i could use a haircut
cuz this one's really not my style
but i guess i'll sport it for awhile
